Rebecca Benneyworth BSc FCA
Rebecca Benneyworth is a lecturer and writer on a variety of tax matters. She has her own practice in Gloucestershire, and was named tax lecturer of the year at the Lexis Nexis Taxation awards in May 2007. She is also Tax Editor of AccountingWEB.co.uk


Russell Cockburn
Russell Cockburn is a former HM Inspector of Taxes providing tax consultancy and advisory services to other professionals, businesses, executives and private clients. He also provides a broad range of tax training, lecturing writing and publishing services. Russell is also the author of the ICSA Tax Guide, published for tax advisers and practising professionals and more recently published Small Business Tax Planning: All You Need to Know from Start-up to Retirement.

Louise Dunford LLM, LLB Barrister
Since 1987, Louise has been continuously involved in training and consultancy, both for professional firms and for commercial organisations providing courses to small and medium sized accountancy firms. Louise mainly specialises in aspects of practical employment law, in company law and professional negligence, and has published widely in leading academic and professional journals. Louise also provides practical advice to small businesses on employment related matters.

Tim Good ACA
Tim lectures to professional audiences all over the country on tax matters. He founded the Professional Tax Partnership in 1990 and writes extensively on tax, including four chapters in Tolley’s Tax Planning. He was formerly editor of the ICAEW’s TAXline Technical Review.

Stephanie Henshaw ACA
Stephanie is Technical Standards Partner with Francis Clark and a Senior Technical Consultant for MacIntyre Hudson Advisory Services Limited.  Her responsibilities include maintaining and updating quality control procedures for audit, ethics and regulation purposes as well as providing practical problem solving advice.  Stephanie presents a variety of audit and financial accounting courses across the country for district societies, town groups and individual firms of accountants and lawyers. She also provides technical support and consultancy to individual firms. Stephanie is a member of the board of the ICAEW Financial Reporting Faculty.

Gerry Hart CTA
Gerry Hart is an experienced Chartered Tax Adviser who specialises in providing technical tax support to other professional advisers such as accountants and solicitors. He is a prolific lecturer on a variety of tax subjects, with an enthusiastic style ensuring that delegates get the most out of his presentations. Over the years Gerry has created and developed several tax practices and he was the National President of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1995/96.

Martyn Ingles FCA CTA
Martyn qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 and trained in taxation with an international firm. He has been a partner in a medium-sized firm of accountants and now runs his own tax consultancy.  In addition to being a highly-experienced presenter, Martyn has also written many articles for specialist tax publications.

Darren Leiser FCCA
Darren has over twenty years of experience in the profession and specialises in auditing and accounts. He is a freelance lecturer with extensive experience in specialist areas such as pension schemes, charities and solicitor audits. Darren aims to tailor his courses to the specific needs of his audience and prides himself on the practical advice he dispenses.

Giles Mooney ACA CTA
Giles started his career with a small firm of Chartered Accountants, before becoming a director of a large training company. He is now a partner with PTP and runs regular tax seminars around the country, as well as making regular contribution to tax publications.

Neil Owen CTA
Neil is a freelance speaker and writer, with specific expertise in VAT. He worked for 6 years for HM Customs & Excise and for more than 12 years as VAT Director with a firm of Chartered Accountants. As well as lecturing, Neil now acts as a consultant to a wide range of companies and professional firms.

John Selwood ACA
John is a Chartered Accountant and independent training consultant who lectures and writes technical material on auditing, financial reporting, money laundering and company law. John is a volunteer member on the ICAEW’s Audit & Assurance Faculty Professional Services Committee and has written ICAEW roadshows on International Auditing Standards. Previously, he has been head of CharterGroup the accountancy network and the technical partner for a top 30 firm of accountants.

Janet Taylor ACA
Janet spent over 10 years with a top 20 accounting firm heading up their specialist solicitors’ group. A highly experienced presenter, Janet provides relevant and practical training on a number of financial issues for lawyers.  She is also a regular presenter of Solicitors’ Accounts Rules training to a wide range of accounting and law firms through in-house and public seminars. Clients have included several major international and national law firms as well as reporting accountants. Janet is also a committee member of the ICAEW’s Solicitors Special Interest Group.

Bob Trunchion
Bob is well versed in all aspects of tax having qualified in the Corporation Tax Department of a big four firm and is now working for MacIntyre Hudson. As well as advising on a consultancy basis on all manner of transactions, he is deeply involved in tax training and has appeared on national radio and television talking about IHT. Bob believes that simple solutions are often the best ones with taxation.

Mike Ulrich ACA
Mike has been involved in training professional accountants for over 20 years. He presents courses and seminars covering a wide range of auditing and accounting topics. In addition he is a technical consultant to a number of firms and organisations. He also presents courses in respect of charities, pension schemes, solicitors, service charges, and llps. He has his own practice and is a statutory auditor.

Mark Ward LLB CTA
Mark qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser with Arthur Andersen in 1989, having previously worked in the tax departments of  a small and a medium-sized firm. Since 1993 he has been lecturing on a wide variety of tax matters to both students and qualified practitioners. Mark is a director of PTP Ltd.
